Grand (school of J. A. Stein c1780) - Documentation

Some pictures of our documentation as a preparation to a reconstruction of the instrument.

This anonymous undated grand by a close follower of Johann Andreas Stein has never been remodelled and is preserved in its historical, unaltered state. The various traces of its manufacture by a very skilled wworkman provide an indispensable source of technical and organological research.
