Jean Boizard 1714
State of preservation: partly original; repaired in 1885; restored by Haerpfer & Herman 1980.
This typical early 18th c. instrument show some of the peculiarities of French baroque organs. So there is a 16' stop in the Grnad orgue but not in the pedal which only serves for cantus-firmus parts, typically with two flute and trumpet stops in 8' and 4' each. The third and fourth manual have a reduced compass (D only) and one one Cornet stop each, by differing composition and position within the case allowing pronounced melodies as well as echo effects.
